Robert Abbatiello
Robert is a dedicated and visionary real estate owner and developer with a passion for creating exceptional living spaces. After graduating from Marist College in 2009 with a degree in finance, Robert worked as a financial planner until 2016, where he gained invaluable experience in managing investments and providing financial advice. In 2016, he made a pivotal career change by purchasing the Lent Court Community, marking the beginning of his full-time focus on real estate.
With years of experience in both finance and real estate, Robert has built a strong reputation for developing and managing high-quality properties throughout the capital region. His hands-on approach ensures that he is on-site throughout every step of the development process, personally overseeing each project to maintain the highest standards. This unwavering commitment to quality and attention to detail is what sets RRA's properties apart. Robert's vision, paired with his financial expertise, drives his success in creating exceptional living spaces that meet both the practical and aesthetic needs of every resident.
Rit Abbatiello
Rit Abbatiello’s journey in real estate began in 1974, and by 1980, he founded Landmark Homes LLC, where he spent nearly 20 years building and developing homes. In 2000, Rit dissolved the company but continued his passion for real estate by purchasing and renovating living communities, creating high-quality spaces for families and individuals to thrive. His deep love for the industry is evident in every project he takes on, and he has instilled the importance of real estate in his son, Robert, from a very young age.
In 2017, Rit and Robert teamed up to purchase the Richardson and officially launch RRA Properties. With the shared vision of providing unparalleled living experiences to their community, they began developing and managing high-quality properties together. Rit’s commitment to his tenants is at the heart of everything he does. He works tirelessly not only to ensure that every unit meets the highest standards but also to create a welcoming, supportive environment where residents feel cared for and valued. Whether it’s addressing a maintenance issue or simply listening to a concern, Rit’s approach is always personal and compassionate. He takes great pride in the relationships he builds with tenants and understands that their comfort is key to a thriving community.
What sets Rit apart, however, is his ability to remain unshaken by challenges. He takes nothing personally and always approaches situations with a level head, focusing on solutions rather than getting caught up in emotions. This calm and steady approach, combined with his genuine care for his tenants, has earned him the trust and respect of those who live in his properties.
Matthew Grygas
Matt, our property manager, joined RRA Properties in 2022 after years of experience in elderly care, bringing with him a rare combination of warmth, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. Since joining the team, Matt has become an integral part of RRA, infusing the property management process with a joy and dedication that sets him apart. His unwavering commitment to his work is evident in everything he does—from maintenance to snow removal, Matt goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of every tenant.
Matt is deeply invested in creating a positive living experience for all residents. He approaches every task with a sense of pride, always ensuring that it’s done right and to the highest standard. His “tenant-first” mentality is contagious, and he leads our maintenance team by example, making sure they share his commitment to exceptional service and attention to detail.
